Sunset Creations News
This is where you will begin to see what really is going on around here! As new things come in or new ideas are implemented, you will hear about them.
October 5, 2008:
Wow, what a busy last couple of weeks! We went down to Canby, OR, for the Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival and had a blast! Now to finish listing the rest of our inventory on the Ebay Store. Thanks to all of you who have supported Sunset Creations!
August 29, 2008:
Our official last day of operation is September 20th. On the 12th and 13th (Friday and Saturday) is Palouse Days and we will be having a 15% off sale on all Brown Sheep, Cherry Tree Hill and Southwest Trading Co. yarns and also on all knitting needles, crochet hooks by Clover and Bryson Distributing; and gadgets by Susan Bates, Pony, Bryson Distributing and Clover. Interweave Press publications will be 10% off as well. Items still here that are in on consignment will not be included in the sale.
August 13, 2008:
Sunset Creations Yarn & Fiber Shoppe will be closing at the end of September as a 'brick-n-mortar' store. We will continue online, using the eBay Store as our selling outlet until other arrangements (ie: a new website) can be made. There will be some changes in class scheduling and we will try to continue a once a month Knitting Day as long as there are people interested in it.
Also, we have now become a Business Consultant for Melaleuca Wellness, Co. If you are interested in their products and would like to either purchase products through Sunset Creations or become a Preferred Customer yourself, please go to the Contact Us page and let us know what you are interested in.
July 29, 2008:
Brown Sheep has a new line of yarn called LanaLoft. We currently have 4 different, graduated colors of this single ply, 100% wool, worsted weight yarn: Turquoise Magic, Mystical Pink, Herbal Garden and Scottish Hillside.
We have also received some yummy, washed fleeces in on consignment. They are mostly Romney fleeces and weigh from 4 oz to almost a pound, with one fleece being just over 2 lbs. They are also mostly brown or grey in color.
Also received in on consignment are some wonderful cones of wool yarn from Jaggerspun (these are discontinued yarns). There are some blends as well.
Books! Lots of books! Some old copies (lovingly worn) of learning to weaving books as well as a varied selection from Interweave press.
Until next time!
